1/2 cup of regular Quinoa with a splash of garlic powder and curry powder
1/2 cup of pinto beans
Firm tofu cooked over the stove just until golden brown with Sriracha hot sauce on top to give it a tasty kick!
Yellow summer squash and broccoli steamed
So yummy!

I'm trying to get in the battlefield mindset. This weekend is my younger sister's bridal shower. I'm very excited because I'm her maid of honor and I've planned every last detail of this shower; hopefully it is going to be a fun time for her and our guests.

I'm only on the second full week of trying to lose weight and I'm experiencing a little boredom with the foods I eat. Anytime I'm following Weight Watchers I tend to rely on the same groups of foods: Lean Cuisines, bag salad mixes, baby carrots, light string cheese and fat free pudding cups. And of course for dining out, I'm constantly at Subway.

In the past 3 months, Glaxo-Smith Kline has been heavily marketing their OTC, FDA-approved weight loss drug, Alli. FitSugar has covered it, Weight Watchers Magazine has reported about it and Jay Leno has cracked jokes about the side effects. I doubt there is a female in the U.S.

I'm 75% through Day 5 on Weight Watchers and I've definitely noticed a boost in my energy. I always feel so much better both physically and mentally when I'm eating right and exercising - you would think that would be enough to keep on the straight and narrow always!
This weekend is my fiance's dad's birthday.
