My mom and I were looking into signing up for Weight Watchers and I was just curious about success stories. If you have tried it, I would love to hear about your adventure!

I did WW a few years ago and lost 20 pounds in about 2 months. I was also exercising like a maniac.
I've gained it all back and then some. But when I actually did it, it worked like a charm.
1I started WW in May of 2006, lost 40 lbs to get to my goal weight in Jan '07. I've been maintaining since. What worked for me: WW CORE program is really easy to follow, and because you don't have to count core foods, maintenance is really easy. I've been at my ideal weight for about a year (about 10 lbs under goal) - and it really isn't work anymore.
The main factor for your success is to remain focused on what kind of life you really want for yourself.
2I lost 15 pounds in 10 weeks on WW. I probally would of lost more if I had time to exercise but I was in school at the time and my days were filled with doing homework. It is an easy program to follow. The meetings help and I like that you can eat what you want and just add your points. Like the WW fudgesicles were great for a snack if craving sweets and only 1 point. So you can adjust it to allow what you and eat what you like.

5I lost 25 pounds with the Flex plan on WW. I loved it. What I found when doing the plan is that I actually wasn't eating enough food - which is why I couldn't ever lose the weight. WW is very easy because it adapts to your lifestyle. You can eat whatever you want - as long as you stay within your point range for the day/week.
Good luck!
6yeah, i had a friend who actully lost all her baby fat! it was crazy cause she was soooo heavy after she had her kid now she is skinny like when she was not even a mom "our teenage years" I'm even joing the group soon! good luck
7weight watchers is great, it teaches you about portion control and allows you to eat the way you like. its not so much a "diet" as it is a way of learning how to eat right.
and yes, i have lost weight and kept it off using WW!
8I am doing WW right now, and I am following the Core plan, where you only count certain foods. I have done the Flex plan (counting everything) in the past, and while I was successful, I gained back all the weight because it wasn't feasible for me to count points every day for the rest of my life.
Core is SO much easier to follow and I think will work so much better in the long term to maintain my weight loss.
