Hello all!
I was just reading about different oils and such and read that peanut oil has no trans-fat. Which made me remember! I used to work at Chick-Fil-A, which fries all of it's chicken in peanut oil....and always has!
Their fries are not prepared in peanut oil, so stay away from them, but nuggets, strips, and sandwiches are...good news for those of us in the south east! I am providing two links; one is to a chart providing information on the different kinds of fats found in different types of oils, etc, and the other is to the nutrition section of the Chick-Fil-A website. After all, if you are gonna choose fast food, why not make the best choices? P.S: Although fried fast food is not good, if you dont' have a choice (and they do have grilled) a fried chicken sandwhich, trans fat and cholesterol free, has 410 calories and 16 grams of fat...more than what you should be eating at one meal, but way better than some of those other choices out there!

I love Chick-fila. Glad to know their chicken isn't to bad.
1I love Chick-fil-a!! I just had their southwest chargrilled salad for lunch today!! Very yummy and filling for not a lot of fat and calories!
2I love Chick filet... but i would still strongly suggest staying far away from food that is breaded and fried (regardless of the kind of oil it's fried in) when dieting. though when i do give into cheating chick filet is one place i would want to go!
