I'm 75% through Day 5 on Weight Watchers and I've definitely noticed a boost in my energy. I always feel so much better both physically and mentally when I'm eating right and exercising - you would think that would be enough to keep on the straight and narrow always!
This weekend is my fiance's dad's birthday. We're planning a low-key lunch tomorrow at their house, with a party fajita pack from a local Mexican place and a half-lemon, half-chocolate dobasch cake. Luckily, I'm not a fan of dobasch cake, so no temptation there. I'm planning to have one chicken fajita
with a small serving of Mexican rice and alot of the bellpeppers and onions. I figure as long as I skip the sour cream and cheese, I can enjoy lunch and still eat reasonably well.
Keeping this blog has been a big help during my first week. I also journal all of my meals through WW.com, but actually writing down my thoughts and planning my days here makes it easier to stay on track.
Tonight I am going to find a cute dress for my younger sister's bridal shower next weekend. I'm the hostess, so it's been crazy trying to plan it, coordinate with the other hostesses and also trying to take some time for me to eat right and work out. I found a very cute dress at Walmart.com (!) for $13.77!! I know Wally World isn't haute couture, but it's quick and easy and I'd rather not drop a fortune on an outfit that hopefully won't fit me in a couple months!
Have a great, healthy weekend, everyone!

Kaciegrrl, thanks for the update. I am so glad that things are going well for you and weight watchers. You seem to have a healthy outlook on the eating perspective so conrats, most people take a while to get to that point.
Keep us updated as you go along!
1I love WW!! Yesterday I just passed my 10-lb. mark. Oh and careful of those bell peppers and onions, some places you get them and they're so greasy, like they stirfry them in oil.
