Hello all!
At last blog I mentioned dieting and quitting smoking all together at once. Well. I am still struggling with both...but yesterday I had an awesome day! The day that changed my life! lol. I ate well...not exactly the best foods, but I came in at under 1500 calories! Not only that, but I only had 1 piece of pizza! Pizza has been my downfall for ever, but i got a free one and am broke so i froze it, 2 slices per foil wrap...but i decided trhat based off of my budget, I would only be able to eat one piece per meal...with my lean cuisine for lunch, healthy snacks, AND fit in a McD's Ice Cream cone!!!!! I felt hungry for a large portion of the day, but my body is just going to have to get over that. I could probably eat 2000 calories a day...i think my body burns 2700 (if the online thingy i did was right) because of my weight, but I am stoked! I am going to be hot by next summer! This time it is different...this time it is going to stick, and I can still have my pizza!!!!
smoking is proving to be alittle more difficult, but I am doing it less often and trying to use nicorette. I find my self wanting to smoke or eat just so my mouth is moving...I don't know what that is all about but now that I have recognized this I am going to be able to prevent over eating and smoking because of it! YAY!!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED!

Good for you! Keep up the hard work. Baby steps is the key.
1thanks girl! day 3 and I am still staying in a healthy calorie range! And i am hungry but don't want to stuff my face! I am so excited!!!!! I had 1700 cal yesterday, and only 1400 today once I am finished for the night!
2Keep working on it !!!!!

4Hey thanks Fitsugar. So, for a week now I have been successfully eating less and trying to integrate in some exercise. I have been smoke free (again) for 2 days. I am a little discouraged though because according to the scale I haven't lost ANY weight. And I have been eating a significantly smaller amount of calories. With or without exercise it shouild have had an impact by now right? in anycase, i am sticking with it! 4th of july i am going to splurge a bit, but i am going to stay away from the sodas and chips, and just have single portions of my favs (potoato salad, baked beans, hamburger, hot dog).
And, it doesn't help that i just finished my lunch not 30 minutes ago...a 384 serving of prk and plantain hash that i made from a light cookbook and a tomato and hearts of palm salad (70 cal)....and I am hungry!!!! bring on the water and hcewing gum! lol
5Souns like you're making an effort !!!!!
