I have over 50 lbs to lose, but I refuse to be a recluse until I've shaken it off. Lately I have been using the fact that I will be participating to the SELF Workout in the Park (NYC) in about 2 weeks, to motivate me to exercise and eat better, so I can better keep up with the fun classes! What is your current motivation? What are you using to push you, to keep you on track?

From your choices, I chose for my health. You are sticking to your plans for all the right reasons, namely, for YOU! From experience, you honestly can't lose weight for anyone but yourself. Not until YOU really want it, can it work for you. At this point in my life, I only work to impress myself - and it feels great!

5I love this poll! I workout for my health, but to keep myself motivated I sign up for races so I have a very specific reason and date to workout. Otherwise, I allow many other activities to get in the way of my fitness plan.

6I work out to maintain good health and to feel good about myself. When I need a boost I rev up with music before I work out, to shake off the tiredness and inspire myself to move. There are certain songs that you just can't listen to without shaking your booty!
